Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Formula for Creators (“Formula,” “the app,” “we,” “us”), an iOS application operated by Influenceish LLC (“Influenceish”), collects, uses, and protects your information. Formula helps creators write short-form video scripts in their own voice by analyzing their existing content. This policy specifically covers the data Formula accesses through your connected TikTok account.

1. Information we collect from TikTok

When you choose to connect your TikTok account using TikTok Login Kit, you authorize Formula to access the following, and only the following, data through the TikTok API scopes you approve:

`user.info.stats`	Aggregate counts: followers, following, likes, and video count.	To gauge your reach and tailor script recommendations.
`video.list`	A list of your own public TikTok videos and their metadata (captions, publish dates, and video content used only for analysis).	Formula studies your existing videos to learn your natural voice, pacing, and style so it can write scripts that sound like you.

We do not request or receive your TikTok password. We do not access private messages, and we do not access other users’ data.

2. Information you provide directly

Separately from TikTok, you may provide an email address for your Formula account, product preferences, and the scripts and inputs you create in the app.

3. How we use your information

To authenticate you and operate your Formula account.
To analyze your own TikTok videos so the app can generate scripts in your voice.
To display your profile and stats within the app.
To provide, maintain, and improve the app’s features.
To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your TikTok data for advertising or to build profiles of you for third parties.

4. How we store and protect it

TikTok data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and systems that operate the app. TikTok access tokens are stored securely and are used only to make the API requests described above.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We share information only with:

Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting and AI processing) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and only to deliver the app’s features.
Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

We never sell TikTok data or share it with unrelated third parties. Our use of information received from TikTok APIs adheres to the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and the TikTok Developer Policies.

6. Data retention

We retain your TikTok-derived data only as long as your account is connected and for as long as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect TikTok or delete your Formula account, we delete or de-identify the associated TikTok data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your choices and rights

Disconnect TikTok at any time from Formula’s settings, or by revoking access in your TikTok account under Security & Login → Manage app permissions. This stops all future data access.
Access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us at the address below.
Delete your account, which removes your personal data and TikTok-derived data as described in Section 6.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those requests.

8. Children’s privacy

Formula is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the app.
